Hey, my name is Demetri and I am currently 19 years old. I am an avid aviation enthusiast and have been collecting since I was a young boy. This business has always been a dream of mine as I always wanted to make the models I liked that nobody else would make. Throughout my childhood, I've tried to make a 1900D for myself multiple times, as it was one of my favorite aircraft. I would use clay, wood, and plastic sheets. All of these in the end were awful and didn't stand the test of time. When I was 14, I taught myself 3D design as a hobby to make model airports for myself. This eventually evolved into challenging myself to make fairly complicated model aircraft. A year later, I started 3D printing a physical copy of my virtual airport terminals. It didn't amount to much until 2023 when I hit a stroke of luck. I finally made a great 3D Printed CYYZ control tower that was sold at both Avworld and Threshold Aviation in Toronto. After a couple of months, I decided to push the limits and move to resin-based 3D printing. I started with some small 1:400 Cessna's which weren't anything spectacular but guess what, they sold. This opened me up to this new path of making model aircraft as a full-time job, and let me say I love it. I love seeing the models get better every month and I love seeing how we can make them more accurate. I get to make all the models I wanted as a kid and get to share them with all the other collectors.
